Kathryn is a graduate of the University of Windsor, and the National Institute for Genealogical Studies, having earned three Professional Learning Certificates in Genealogical Studies (Methodology, Canadian and English Research). Kathryn now serves as Canadian research virtual chat host/coordinator with the Institute.

She is past Director-at-Large with the Association of Professional Genealogists, and is the past Dominion Genealogists of the United Empire Loyalists’ Association of Canada.

Kathryn is the author of Digging Your Canadian Roots, as well as numerous mini-guides featuring Canadian research topics.
