Registration Open for the 2019 Professional Management Conference in Salt Lake City
Registration is now open for the 2019 APG Professional Management Conference in Salt Lake City 19 to 21 September at the Hotel RL during APG’s 40th anniversary year. Register at the APG website:

The conference features lectures, roundtables, discussion groups, and poster sessions geared to the professional genealogist. Topics include DNA research and writing, business productivity, advanced research, new services genealogists can add to their business offerings, and much more. Our lineup of speakers is stellar, including Elizabeth Shown Mills, Thomas W. Jones, J. Mark Lowe, Judy G. Russell, Michael Leclerc, Kenyatta Berry, and many more.

The program features several special events. The Friday luncheon program is “40th Anniversary Celebration: Recognizing Our Charter Members,” hosted by APG Vice President David McDonald. The Wednesday afternoon tour, “Behind the Scenes at the Family History Library,” is free but you must register. The APG awards presentation is Thursday morning before Elizabeth Shown Mills kicks off the conference with “Improving Our Success Rate in Solving Client Problems.” The APG Annual Meeting is Thursday afternoon. Successful BCG portfolios and ICAPGen projects will be available for attendees to examine.
