REGISTER for Jan 2018 DearMYRTLE Events

This is the lineup for January 2018 DearMYRTLE study groups and online events. Please note we are using a brand new interface called ZOOM. It’s way cool, and very easy to pick up. 800DearMYRTLE hangouts

It’s hard to believe we are celebrating 800 DearMYRTLE hangouts during Mondays with Myrt on 4 Dec 2017. I couldn’t possibly have done this without great panel participants and of course, my real-life Cousin Russ. Thank-you to all who have made these hangouts so fun – even though we are learning sticky wicket things like citation samples and advanced genealogical research methodologies. Here’s the December lineup:

DearREADERS,
You’ve heard about our hangouts and have been wondering “Are these like webinars?” Yes, there are many webinar platforms, we use Business Hangouts.
  • Must I have a web cam to attend? You may view the live and archived hangouts without using your webcam.
  • What about a headset? Only panel participants need a high quality headset to ensure their voices come through loud and clear.
  • I cannot attend the live hangout. No worries, 99 44/100% of DearMYRTLE hangouts are archived and available in the same place as the live events. We’ve hosted only 8 requiring privacy due to copyright issues. If you miss the live events, catch the archived version at your convenience.
