Read a post today where the researcher said “the light bulb went OFF” and she shared her breakthrough idea.
Aren’t breakthrough light bulb moments supposed to be ON — as in a bright idea? Or when we shed new light on a subject?

I used to tease Cousin Russ for saying “the light bulb went OFF” when a new idea dawned on him. To me, a light bulb going OFF is akin to stumbling in the dark.
