It’s regrettable that he must also note “Actually, be warned, as the ICAPGen policy DOES prohibit – likely inadvertently! – the use of Grammarly, autosuggest in Word, and other everyday generative AI tools that we’ve been using for years!”
IMHO ICAPGen has likely made a hasty decision by issuing a statement forbidding the use of AI during the accreditation process.

Creating a GEDCOM file and uploading to WikiTree.com
Panelist Hilary Gadsbby explains how GEDCOMpare assists users to find matches between their recent upload and what’s already in WikiTree’s “one big” tree. She also clarifies that it is better to only upload a few individuals at a time, one reason being one cannot edit an ancestor’s profile until ALL the matches have been handled.
